Catching up!

Here is a short clip of Brandon's baptism. I have others that I will post soon. I also have beautiful video of the opening section of the ceremony outside at the fire! Beautiful!

Brandon was such a grown up that night! You can see in his face that he is nervous but he did so well! The entire Mass was so beautiful! The church, the music, the lighting - everything!!! He received some gifts from the church and we are sending out Thank You notes to all those who contributed to his religious education so far.

I only wish I had taken the time to prepare with prayer beforehand. I agreed on the spur of the moment to have a cookout prior to Mass. I ended up rushing around like a chicken with it's head cut off. To top that off I spent much of the night wondering what my family was thinking. How silly is that!? My brother, his girlfriend and my Mom came with us. I worried not so much about my family but my brothers girlfriend. She is very set in her beliefs and she talked alot during the service. I kept wondering if she was telling Mom what they were doing and why or if she was telling her why she felt they shouldn't have been doing what they were doing. I let it affect the evening and I deeply regret it! Once Kevin showed up from work and I started video taping everything I was able to push the thoughts aside and focus on my son.
